Please remind instructors to let us know of any students not attending Summer I classes. Information should be sent to REG-Student-Attend@wmich.edu.

GoWMU change in Self Service Channels

Functionality: Users can select links to be removed from their My Self Service and My Work channels. This will allow users to:

• Have a manageable set of links displayed to them
• Remove non-appropriate links that take up valuable real-estate
• Re-populate the list as they need with previously removed links 

These changes allow you, the user, to select which links you want to see in your channels in GoWMU. Removing links from view does not remove them from the channel, just from view, you can use the edit icon to put links back in view.

Spring 2009 schedules

The first round of Spring 2009 scheduling is due on June 9, at 5:00 pm. The majority of schedule changes for Spring 2009 need to be made by the 9th. Only minor corrections, and a minimum number of changes should be made during round 2.

Also, in scheduling spring 2009 courses, remember to spread courses out across the times of the day and the days of the week. Spreading classes out gives students more flexibility in creating their own schedule and makes most efficient use of building and room space.

Upcoming Dates

• May 26 – Memorial Day recess – no classes
• May 30 - Last day to receive 25% tuition refund for a complete withdrawal from all Summer I courses.
• June 2 – last day to withdraw from Summer I courses
• June 9 - Spring 2009 master schedule due on Student Information System by departments. Galley corrections due a Registrar's Office
• June 25 – Summer I classes end
• June 28 - Commencement  (see: http://www.wmich.edu/commencement )
• July1 – Summer I grades due at noon
