Last day to withdraw

Today, Monday, November 5th, is the last day for students to withdraw from Fall classes.  Students can withdraw online through GoWMU through 11:59 pm today.


December Commencement is approaching, three ceremonies will be held on Saturday, December 15th.  The schedule is:

9 a.m.

Haworth College of Business
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences
College of Fine Arts


College of Education
Extended University Programs
College of Aviation

3 p.m.

College of Arts and Sciences
College of Health and Human Services

There are about 2,000 students eligible for December graduation including more than 70 doctoral students.  For more information, see www.wmich.edu/commencement.

The breakdown is also by class, which is a convenient way to identify the spread of majors over the four years by major.

This list includes majors and minors and gives a good indication of the interests of our students as they begin their study at WMU.  Did you know that 766 undergraduate beginners this fall indicated University Curriculum as their major?

Monday, Nov. 5 - Last day for students to withdraw for Fall 2007
Monday, Nov. 5 - Summer I & II final review begins
Friday, Nov. 9 - Summer I and II final corrections due by 5:00 pm.
Wednesday, Nov. 21 - Thanksgiving recess begins at noon
Monday, Nov. 26 - Classes resume
Monday, Dec. 3 – Last day for students to apply for April 2008 graduation
Monday, Dec. 10 - Final exam week begins
