A new GoWMU login page debuts today! While the functionality remains the same, the page has a new look and added features. Information for new users is located directly under the login area. On the right are quick links to items such as what to do if you forget your Bronco NetID or password, how to change your password, how to contact the help desk, as well as information on scheduled outages and downtimes. In the center area you’ll find current and often changing tips on use of the portal. And a new tab has been added which features FAQ’s, tutorials and additional help desk information. Your comments are welcome; from the Help & FAQ tab there is phone number for suggestions as well as a link to a customer satisfaction survey.
Look for more changes in the portal in the next few weeks as work continues to improve the functionality of GoWMU.
Please remind all instructors that final exams will be held in their normal classrooms unless other arrangements have been made with the Registrar’s Office. Finals must be held in the normal classroom at the assigned time. Please see the final exam schedule for this Spring 2007 semester on: http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/finalexam.html .
Grades for Spring 2007 are due by noon on Tuesday, May 1st. As always, we will close grading temporarily at noon on the 1st so that we can process grades, updates gpas, update academic standing, etc. As soon as this process is complete, we will re-open grading, at which time students will be able to view their spring grades and faculty will be able to enter any grades they have not yet entered for Spring. I expect that students will be able to view their grades by around 5:00 pm on Tuesday.
Please remind your students that August 1, 2007 is the deadline for students to apply for December graduation!
