Registrar's Notes

March 19, 2007

Registration for Fall 2007 opened today for graduate students.  Tomorrow the priority schedule for undergraduates begins, for the full schedule see: ww.wmich.edu/registrar/timeticket.html.

Today, March 19th, is also the last day that students can withdraw from Spring 2007 classes online.  Students can withdraw online through 11:59 pm tonight or they can come to the Registrar’s Office through 5:00 pm today.

Grading for this Spring semester will open on Monday, March 26th.  As always final grades are due on Tuesday, May 1st at noon.

ED 1040 (Effective College Reading) is now LS 1040 (Effective College Reading).

In the Fall 2007 schedule, students need to look for the class under the "Literacy Studies" Department.  In Cognos, you should look for it under "Special Education/Literacy Studies" Department.  Special Education and Literacy Studies are the same department, but the course is listed as LS in GoWMU to make it easier for students to find.  If you have any questions, you may contact Mary Lou Brooks, office associate in the SPLS Department, at 387-5938.

Please remind seniors graduating this April to RSVP if they plan to attend the ceremony on April 28th.  The RSVP form can be found on GoWMU.
