Registrar's Notes

As we begin to wind down this Spring semester, please keep the following in mind:

Finals week, April 24 - 28

Final exams must be scheduled according to the final exam schedule. You can find it in the Spring 2006 schedule booklet or on http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/finalexam.html.

Please remind all instructors that finals are held in their normal classroom, unless other arrangements have been made with this office. Rooms for review sessions, meetings, or any other special needs must be arranged thru this office also. Please contact either:

Commencement, April 29

The schedule is:

• 9:00 - College of Arts and Sciences
• 12:00 - College of Aviation, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, College of Fine Arts and College of Health and Human Services
• 3:00 - College of Education and Extended University Programs
• 6:00 - Haworth College of Business

Grading

Grades due Tuesday, May 2, at noon

Grading for Spring 2006 is and has been open for those classes finishing early. Note that students will not be able to see their grades online until the afternoon of May 2nd. Grades submitted after May 2nd will be viewable by students on the day after they are submitted.

This is a great time to review all instructors of record; please ensure that every section has an instructor of record listed and that it is the correct instructor.

Summer registration

Enrollment for Summer I and II continues, currently there are 7,590 students registered for Summer I and 4,223 registered for Summer II.

Fall registration

Registration for fall continues with Juniors, 56 hours and more, beginning registration on Monday.
