Textbook requisitions

As a reminder, the Higher Education Opportunity Act mandates that all colleges and universities include information about required and recommended textbooks in their online course searches to assist students during the registration process.  Therefore, it is important that all Summer I and Summer II requisitions be submitted as soon as possible and that all fall requisitions be submitted no later than February 12 in order to keep WMU compliant.

Follett has launched a new faculty requisition system that is supposed to be easier to use and only requires signing into e-learning.  Instructions, including a demonstration video, can be found on the Registrar's Office website.

Summer graduation application

We will continue to accept applications for June and August graduation through the end of March.  Please encourage students planning to graduate over the summer to submit their information to the Registrar's Office as soon as possible.

First work grades

Next Monday, February 15 is the deadline for instructors to submit a first work grade.  First work grades are entered on the midterm grading worksheet.  The midterm grade, which needs to be entered no later than March 14, will replace the first work grade on the worksheet.  Instructions on how to submit first work or midterm grades can be found at registrar/faculty-staff/grades.

Final exam schedule

The Spring 2016 Final Exam Schedule is available on the Registrar's Office website.  Please note, this schedule reflects a permanent change to the final exam week structure.  Mass and make-up exams have been moved to a different day and time, leaving Friday open in the event the university should close during final exam week.  If the University does close a day during final exam week, the exams scheduled on the day of closure would automatically move to Friday without affecting any other exam day.
