Banner Search Form
The GUISRCH form in Banner allows users to search for students in the database using email address, country code, area code and phone number. Enter the search criteria on GUISRCH and perform a next block. The form will display the WIN, name and date of birth of the student. GUISRCH can also be used to identify a Banner user by entering the Bronco Net ID in the additional ID field. Virtually everyone who has a Banner account can use GUISRCH.
Summer II Registration Changes
Census occurred on Friday, July 5. Students wanting to add a Summer II course today will need to submit a completed Permission to Late Add form to the Registrar’s Office. The form can be found on the Registrar’s Office website at:
Students adding their first course after today will be assessed a late add fee of $100 per class.
A 24-hour grace period is provided to students who drop a course that meets for the first time on or after the end of the drop/add period. Students dropping a class within 24 hours of the start date should contact the Registrar’s Office to make sure they receive the correct refund.
WithdrawsStudents will receive a 50% refund for complete withdraws through Tuesday, July 9. A 25% refund will be granted for complete withdraws from Wednesday, July 10 to Friday, July 22.
Grade mode and credit hour changes
At this point in the semester students can no longer change from a letter grade to credit/no credit, or from credit/no credit to a letter grade. Students are also unable to decrease credit hours in a variable credit course. According to university policy, changes to the grade mode and the credit hour range can only be done through the end of the drop/add period.
Spring 2014 Schedule Building
The final review of the Spring 2014 schedule begins today. All signed working reports are due in the Registrar’s Office by the end of the day Friday. Please note, working reports must be returned even if there are no changes. The Spring 2014 schedule will be available for students to view on September 30. As departments complete the final review, it is a great opportunity to add reserved seating to Spring 2014 sections. This can be done using the Reserved Seating Worksheet available at http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/faculty-staff/builders/index.html.
- Tuesday, July 9—Last day to receive a 50% refund for complete withdrawal
- Monday, July 22—Last day to receive a 25% refund for complete withdrawal
- Monday, July 29—Last day to withdraw
- Friday, August 16—Summer II session ends
- Tuesday, August 20—Final grades due at noon
- Tuesday August 27 to Friday, August 30—Fall Welcome
