Registrar’s Notes – July 5, 2011
July 5, 2011
Summer I Grades
Summer I grades are due today at noon. The grading system will be turned off soon after the deadline and we will begin processing. Grades will be available for students to view as soon as processing has been completed, which we anticipate will be sometime in the late afternoon. Students will be notified through their wmich.edu e-mail account if their academic standing changes to probation, extended probation, final probation or dismissal.
Waitlist notification will be turned off Wednesday afternoon and any student still remaining on a waitlist will be deleted at the end of the day Thursday.
Summer II census will be occurring Friday. Please make every effort to ensure all students attending a Summer II course are registered in Banner by the end of the day Friday so they can be accurately reflected in our census counts.
New Security Center on GoWMU
The security access area in GoWMU has a new look:
The new center is easier to navigate and is more intuitive for finding the information and/or forms you need. The link is located in the same place in GoWMU, at the bottom of the My Work channel.
All the Request for Security Access forms have been updated. They are more user-friendly and have been standardized as much as possible. Please delete all old forms as only the new forms will be accepted. As with any new form or process, your feedback is appreciated. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions please contact Kathy Rix.
