
Registration in a course may be canceled if the student does not satisfy all published prerequisites. Students should check course prerequisites in the Undergraduate Catalog or the Graduate Catalog before registering for the course.
Student are responsible for their registration and any subsequent withdrawal from courses. Students who do not attend or complete their courses must withdraw by the established deadlines (see Academic Calendar within the specific semester/session) or be subject to failing grades and/or tuition and fee charges.
Registration in a course may be canceled in certain circumstances for nonattendance of the first class meeting-lecture or lab-unless prior authorization is granted by the academic department.
The official registration drop/add period extends five business days into a semester or session. In addition, a 24-hour grace period will be provided students who drop or add a course that meets for the first time on or after the final day of the drop/add period.
Students will be responsible for obtaining or forfeiting the work missed in class sessions not attended. Course instructors will not be obligated to update students adding a course beyond the first meeting of the class.
