Your transcript is the official, permanent record of all the courses you have attended.
Western Michigan University has authorized Docufide to manage the ordering, processing, and secure delivery of student transcripts.
Transcripts requests can be made through the Docufide website at www.docufide.com.
A one-time account set up is required. Watch this tutorial on how to create an account or click on “create a Docufide account now” to create your account. You will be asked your enrollment status, student ID and/or last four digits of your SSN as well as basic identifier and e-mail information to ensure proper student matching. If you are not sure of the exact attendance dates, please indicate approximate dates.
Once you have completed the set up, you will receive an e-mail from Docufide asking you to confirm your e-mail address. Once you do that, you are ready to begin requesting transcript through the Docufide website.
If you are sending a transcript to a destination other than an academic entity in the Docufide database, you will be required to sign and fax or e-mail the authorization form provided directly to Docufide before your transcript can be processed.
All transcripts sent through Docufide are official.
The transcript cost is based on the method of delivery and destination. During the ordering process you will be able to see the exact charge prior to entering your credit card information. The fees are as follow:
$5.00 – electronic delivery to select schools and destinations in one of the participating MHEC states which includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
For a limited, introductory period, the $5.00 charge is being waived for qualifying destinations in the MHEC (see above for MHEC states).
$7.55—electronic delivery to a school not participating in the MHEC, to yourself or to a third party.
$9.25—paper delivery to any destination. Transcript will be printed on security paper and sent through USPS.
$30.00—additional fee for overnight delivery.
Transcripts must be paid by credit card at the time of the order. Docufide accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
A hold on your WMU account will not prevent you from requesting a transcript through Docufide and you will be assessed the transcript fees. However, WMU will not be able to release your transcript until the hold is resolved.
