Welcome! The registrar's website is full of great information that will help you learn how to register, when to register, important dates for adding and dropping courses, and much, much more. We want to see you be successful at WMU. The staff in the Registrar's Office are caring and knowledgeable, and will gladly answer your questions.

We are happy to have you here and will work with you from your initial registration through to graduation and beyond!

What we do here..

Compile, maintain, retrieve and disseminate accurate academic records for current and previous University populations
Ensure that registration procedures are administered within the University
Ensure that governmental and accreditation compliance standards are met
Provide efficient space scheduling for the institution's building use
Publish course offerings, University calendars/schedules and graduate and undergraduate catalogs
Apply graduation requirements according to published regulations

The Office of the Registrar upholds the academic mission of Western Michigan University by providing educational services in a friendly, customer service oriented, accurate and prompt professional atmosphere, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality for all students.

In meeting its mission, the Office of the Registrar provides leadership, analysis and assistance in the development of, and modifications to, policies and procedures that will best serve faculty, students, alumni, parents, staff and members of the general public within the parameters established by law, University policy, technology, and budget.
