Welcome back! I hope that you all had a restful, relaxing and joyful holiday! I know that next week will be busy for all of us, so these notes are coming today instead of Monday.
Spring 2006 registration
- Drop/adds ends at 11:59 pm on Friday, January 13th.
- No classes on MLK Day, Monday, January 16th.
- Clean-up day is Tuesday, January 17th.
- Census is Tuesday, January 17th.
Late add fees, $100 per course, will be assessed to students adding their first course or courses on January 18th or after. This fee is only charged to those students not already registered for any courses prior to the 18th.
One-Stop Convenience Center
Beginning tomorrow, Saturday, January 7th, we will be operating a slightly scaled back version of the One-Stop Center launched last fall. The hours are:
- Saturday, January 7th, from 10:00-5:00
- Monday, January 9th, from 10:00-6:00
- Tuesday, January 10th, from 10:00-6:00
- Wednesday, January 11th, from 10:00-6:00

Graduation items
The April 2006 commencement will be held in the University Arena. Details on times will be coming soon.
February 1st is the deadline for students to apply for Summer I or II graduation. Note that Summer I graduation is July 1st, in Miller Auditorium.
Fall 2006 schedules
The final review of the Fall 2006 schedules will be February 3rd thru the 10th, with all changes due back in the office on February 10th. This is a change from the previous dates. We are in the process of assigning rooms to fall classes. Due to the upcoming renovations in Brown and parts of Korhman, room scheduling is very tight for next fall. Please be as flexible as possible during this next year; classroom space will be much more limited than normal. Brown Hall will be unavailable from the end of April until January 2008.
