Certificate Track in Organizational Performance
Management for Undergraduate Psychology Majors

The following track is suggested for WMU Psychology majors who are interested in the fields of organizational behavior management and performance management.

A. CORE PSYCHOLOGY COURSES REQUIRED OF ALL MAJORS, INCLUDING:
PSY 300 Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences 3 credits
PSY 330 Methodology of Behavior Analysis 3 credits
PSY 360 Concepts and Principles of Behavior Analysis 4 credits

B. CERTIFICATE TRACK in OBM/PM: Students who achieve a "B" or better in each course listed below will be issued a certificate in Organizational Performance Management.
These two in either order:
1. PSY 460 Survey of Behavior Analysis Research 3 credits
2. PSY 444 Industrial/Organizational Behavior Analysis 3 credits
Last Course (fulfills practicum requirement):
3. PSY 599 Industrial/Organizational Practicum (Austin) 3 credits

*A certificate for completing the OBM/PM track will be delivered upon completion of PSY 599. Students must arrange a transcript review and meeting with Dr. Austin to receive the certificate.

Additional Course Options (These courses can be added, but will not substitute for other requirements):
PSY 597 Project Option (PSY 460 Honors Project): 1 credit
Concurrent with Malott's PSY 460 sections only, students can enroll for the PSY 460 Honors Project (Super "P" Project) option, in which they conduct an organizational PM project in a business setting.
PSY 597 Behavior-Based Safety (Offered every other year) 3 credits
