Alan Poling

Dr. Alan Poling is professor of psychology, a member of the behavior analysis program and director of the behavioral pharmacology laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in 1977 from the University of Minnesota. He was a research associate at South Carolina prior to joining the faculty here in 1979.

His research interests include mental retardation, basic learning processes, and behavioral pharmacology. He has published more than 200 articles and 10 books.
