Dr. Huitema is professor of psychology, a member of the general faculty, chair of the industrial/organizational program, and statistical consultant for businesses and several units of the University. He received his B.A. from Southern Illinois in 1961, his M.A. from Western Michigan in 1962, and his Ph.D. from Colorado State in 1968. His research interests include time series analysis, single organism and quasi-experimental design, and the evaluation of preventative health practices. His 1980 text, The Analysis of Covariance and Alternatives, has been well received in the field. He is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and Behavioral Assessment and is a referee for several journals including The American Statistician, Behavioral Research Methods, Instruments, and Computers, the Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment, Psychological Bulletin, and Psychometrika. His international travel includes teaching several short courses in Mexico.
