Bio
Dr. Lester Wright, Jr. is an associate professor of psychology and a faculty member in the clinical psychology program. He completed his clinical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical School/Jackson Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi in 1994. He then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Sex Offender/Child Abuse Treatment Program in the Department of Psychiatry, at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Wright joined the Western Michigan University faculty in 1996.

Area of expertise

  • Clinical psychology
    Dr. Lester Wright primary clinical and research interests are in the area of human sexuality and deviant behavior. He completed his internship at the University of Mississippi Medical School/ Jackson VA Consortium and then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University. He is currently the director of the Clinical Studies Laboratory, an out-patient clinic and research center for individuals requiring assessment and/or treatment of sexual problems.
