- Travel to Washington, D.C., for annual meeting of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (formerly NASULGC)
Wednesday, Nov. 18
- Meet with Greater Kalamazoo United Way Executive Committee
- Attend meeting of Gilmore Keyboard Festival board
- Attend annual community spelling bee
Thursday, Nov. 19
- Attend Gov. Granholm’s campus presentation
Friday, Nov. 20
- Meet with board of Bronson Health Care
- Host luncheon to introduce APLU President Peter McPherson to WMU academic deans and directors
- Attend Kalamazoo Symphony and host afterglow
Saturday, Nov. 21
- Take part in conference call with Mid-American Conference presidents
- Attend Fire and Ice Gala at Kalamazoo’s Radisson
Sunday, Nov. 22
- Host dinner for Confucius Institute guests attending the Nov. 23 campus grand opening
The president also has one-on-one and small group meetings scheduled this week, including sessions with members of the administration, faculty, students and friends of WMU.
