Welcome! I am looking forward to hearing from you regarding your interest in our Graduate Program here at WMU. Our Graduate Program focuses on preparing you to generate knowledge and be ready, willing, and able to accept expected research and development responsibilities upon employment. We also want you to assist industry in the design and development of technologies and products based on sound theoretical principles.

After graduating with a master's or doctoral degree, you can earn from $ 55,000 to $75,000 as a starting annual salary in the fields of Paper Engineering or Imaging Sciences. As your Graduate Advisor, I want to get to know you and help you understand the Admission Process into the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, as outlined below:

1   Apply online to become a Western Bronco! You can do this by filling out an application for graduate studies at: www.wmich.edu/admi/gradapp/

2   Email me at andrew.kline@wmich.edu to let me know of your interest, and attach a current copy of your college transcript.

3   If you live nearby to Kalamazoo, Michigan, set up an appointment with me to visit our department by calling 269-276-3516. The best time to call is during my office hours, which are Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 2 PM, EST.

4   Tour our facility and find out more about becoming a WMU Bronco.
