Responsibilities |
- Applicant will be responsible for evaluating image quality for next
generation inkjet printing systems.
- Duties include
:
- Color gamut
measurement
- Determination of dot placement accuracy
- The
implementation of methods for in situ color measurement and image
quality
control.
- The position will take direction from senior imaging
scientist
and development engineers in the fields of imaging, machine
control, and
data workflow.
- Particular expertise in image related data
acquisition and
analysis is preferred.

Requriments |
- A user level understanding of ICC profile color management
theory and
practice
- Systems understanding of image data equation hardware and
software
- Ability to compile, reduce, and present data effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications |
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL
- Associates degree and 5 years experience or B.S in technical field
EDUCATION MAJOR
- Imaging Science or Computer Engineering
- MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE
- 2 Years
EXPERIENCE (ESSENTIAL)
- Working knowledge of color measurement instrumentation and commercial
imaging software.
- Working knowledge of commercial data acquisition and computational
analysis software packages.
- Hands on imaging lab color and quality experience
EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLE)
- Workflow and Color Management expertise of digital printing systems.
- An appreciation for ink, substrate, and system performance trade-offs
- Familiarity with electronics, mechanics, and software necessary to set up
and operate automated data acquisition systems.
