Salary
$2950- $3928/month (based on college years completed and previous co-op/intern experience).
 
Position Description
Individual will work in either the Pulp or Paper Technical Team which are responsible for process engineering support for: Pulp - Woodyard, Fiberline, Recovery, Pulp Machine; Or Paper – Stock Prep, Wet/Dry End, Coating, Shipping. The Individual will work closely with the production and other support groups.
 
Position Responsibilities
The individual will be involved with PC based data collection and analysis, organizing/running/evaluating chemical and process trials, problem solving, short and long term project assignments, and monthly reporting.
 
Position Requirements & Qualifications
  • Paper Engineering Curriculum, Chemical Engineering Curriculum or Mechanical Engineering Curriculum with an interest in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
  • Minimum GPA 2.75 Completed Sophomore year.
  • Can answer YES to the following: “Are you authorized for employment in the United States by virtue of being one of the following:
    1. a U.S. citizen
    2. a permanent resident
    3. an alien who obtained amnesty under one of the 1986-88 programs
    4. an alien admitted as a refugee or
    5. an alien granted asylum?”

(You must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States for other than practical training.)
