Development Analysis (3 hrs.)

- PSCI 6440 - Economic and Social Development Theory
- ECON 5880 - Economic Development (may substitute ECON 6880 Economic Development I if ECON 5880 is not offered)
International and Comparative Studies (3 hrs.)

Approved Elective: One course (3 hrs.) selected with the approval of the MIDA director.
Field paper: One course (6 hrs.)
- PSCI 6390 - Peace Corps Field Paper (3 hours in the first year of Peace Corps and 3 hours in the second year)
The Field Paper consists of an analysis of a development program or project in the country of service. It should be completed no later than 21 months after arriving in country.
Peace Corps Service: Notification by Peace Corps of completed service.
