Priscilla Lambert received her Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, San Diego in 2004. Her research interests include Japanese politics, gender and politics, comparative political economy and the politics of family and social policy. She has published articles in the Journal of Japanese Studies, Social Politics, Harvard International Journal of Press and Politics and has articles forthcoming in Comparative Politics and the US-Japan Women’s Journal . Her current research includes an examination of falling fertility and Japanese family policy and a co-authored project on the effect of gender provisions in national constitutions. She teaches Japanese Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Capitalism and Democracy, Comparative Political Economy, and Women and Politics.
