Graduating Seniors Future Plans Survey

The future plans survey is part of the RSVP process for commencement. Students access the Commencement RSVP link through GoWMU, the WMU portal, and are asked to complete an optional survey. Students are able to choose from nine selections of what they plan to do after graduation:

  1. Employment, full-time paid;
  2. Employment, part-time paid;
  3. Graduate or professional school, full-time;
  4. Graduate or professional school, part-time;
  5. Military service;
  6. Starting or raising a family;
  7. Additional undergraduate coursework;
  8. Volunteer activity (e.g., Peace Corps); or
  9. Other (Students are allowed to enter anything in this box).

Students who phone in their commencement RSVP are asked to answer the question and staff in the Registrar's Office enter their response in the student information system.

Data is collected from students three times per year, prior to each of the three commencement dates in April, June, and December.
