Scholarship of Teaching and Learning


Thank you to all who participated in the 4th Annual Scholarship for Teaching and Learning Conference, held on May 20, 2011.  This professional development conference is devoted to conducting and publishing research on teaching and learning.

This year’s keynote speaker was Dr. Bill Cerbin, professor of psychology and director of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Center for Advancing Teaching & Learning, www.uwlax.edu/catl. He also directs the College Lesson Study Project, www.uwlax.edu/sotl/lsp, which supports college instructors to use lesson study practices to improve teaching and student learning, and advance the practice of teaching in their fields.  More information on the keynote address, breakout sessions, and the conference capstone can be found in the 2011 Conference Program below.

The 5th Annual Scholarship for Teaching and Learning Conference is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Fetzer Center.  Information will be added as it becomes available.
