Creativity, Innovation, and Student Success: Getting the Most out of Your Educational Experience

This workshop is led by Dr. Harold T. Swift, who is an education administrator in the Kalamazoo Public Schools district  as well as an author, sports writer, and former Future Faculty Fellow. It is open to participants of the Mentoring for Success Program. This event is jointly organized by the State of Michigan Workforce Development Agency's KCP Mentoring for Success Program, Michigan GEAR UP Program, Future Faculty Fellowship Program, and Visiting Professors Program.

CAMP Study Hours

Date: September through December 2017
Times: Mondays from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m.
Location: DMA Multipurpose Room, Ellsworth Hall
Open study hours for all CAMP participants. Mentoring for Success Program peer mentors will be available to provide tutoring and answer questions. Snacks will be provided. At the end of the semester, a $50 WMU Bookstore gift card will be awarded to the participant with the highest attendance.

MI GEAR UP Study Hours

Date: September through December 2017
Times: Mondays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Location: DMA Multipurpose Room, Ellsworth Hall
Open study hours for all MI GEAR UP participants. Mentoring for Success Program peer mentors will be available to provide tutoring and answer questions. Snacks will be provided. At the end of the semester, a $50 WMU Bookstore gift card will be awarded to the participant with the highest attendance.
