WMU Paper Engineering Mill Day and Open House event
November 30,
and December 1, 2007.
Friday, November 30: Join us for this special behind-the-scenes
tour of paper mill Graphic Packaging, in downtown Kalamazoo, from
4-6 p.m. Prospective students and their parents are invited to
learn more about the technological advances being made in the paper
making industry.
Saturday, December 1: Learn more about the interesting and unique
career opportunities as a Paper Engineer. Tour the new $72 million,
state-of-the-art Parkview Campus of the College of Engineering and
Applied Sciences, from 9 a.m. until noon. Join us as we describe
our program; explain our $20,000 Paper Technology Foundation
Scholarship; see our laboratories; and hear from current WMU Paper
Engineering students. Plus, the job market is fantastic for our
graduates! We boast 100% job placement with salaries in the $60,000
range.
This event is free to students and their parents.
