PCI hosts Fall Meet and Greet
September 14 2006
On Thursday, September 14, the department of Paper Engineering,
Chemical Engineering and Imaging held its annual freshman Meet and
Greet. Here over 75 new students had a chance to socialize with
department head Dr. Said AbuBakr, and with the entire department
faculty and staff. Pizza was served while students learned more
about student organizations and met upper classmen and other new
students.
Western Michigan University , a leader in the field of paper coating research and applications as well as a leading provider of undergraduate and graduate engineers and scientists, is offering its famed paper coating course in June/July.

Science Foundation that WMU, in conjunction with Michigan State University's School of Packaging, has received a planning grant to determine corporate interest in establishing a center for research and development in barrier coatings. [Details]
