Third Annual WMU Research and Creative Activities Poster Day
Reem El Asaleh, PhD Student, and Hemant Bohra, MS student were chosen by the PCI Department to represent the department at the Celebration of Research and Creative Activities Poster Day that was held on Friday, April 10th in the Fetzer Center.

Reem and Hemant were part of the top 15 graduate students to win an award to recognize the outstanding graduate student posters/displays. Both PCI graduate students were awarded with $200 cash each.

Paper Engineering Open House
Saturday, March 21
Prospective Paper Engineering students and their families are invited to join us from 9-noon for an in-depth Open House on Paper Engineering as a major, our 70 year old program at WMU, career opportunities, Paper Technology Foundation Scholarships of $20,000+. Plus, meet with current WMU PE students and faculty and take a tour of our new $72 million Engineering College. The event is free but you must register by email to: Nichole.Perk@wmich.edu. Please include your name, high school name and expected graduation date, ACT math and science scores, and your mailing address and phone number, along with the total number of persons attending. A light breakfast will be provided. Upon receiving your information, you will receive a confirmation note from Nichole (Nikki) Perk with directions and agendas.
