Student therapists are required to complete six months of full-time fieldwork in two clinical practice sites, one a medical model site and one a community model site.
Fieldwork experiences are full-time (40 hours per week) and last for three months each. All fieldwork must be completed within 24 months following the completion of academic course work.
Note: Prior to assignment to fieldwork experiences, all students must complete a criminal background check and a drug screening. Unsatisfactory results for the criminal background check or the drug screening will result in cancellation of the fieldwork experience and may result in dismissal from the program.
