OT 3750: Applied Neurology

Course description

An applied study of human neurologic, neuro-muscular, neuro-motor, and sensori-motor function. Emphasis will be placed on development of normal occupational performance and conditions that effect occupation. This course will have 4 hours of lecture per week (two hours twice a week).

Relationship to curriculum design

This course falls under the Foundation Sciences portion of the curriculum design by developing understanding of how foundation concepts from the sciences support functional human performance at the DISCOVERY level. The students will be evaluated on the Foundation Sciences Competency as follows: The competent occupational therapy graduate understands how foundation concepts from the sciences support functional human performance.
