Adding Teaching Assistants and Others to Your Course

Registered Students

Students who add your course will be added automatically to your student list/grade book. As an instructor, you may enroll individuals into your Blackboard Vista course. The individual must have a valid Bronco NetID to be enrolled. If you would like to enroll a "guest lecturer", please contact ATIS.

Students who drop your course will remain in the grade book and will have a red icon next to their name. These students do NOT have access to your course.

TAs or other students not registered for the course

To add a TA or a student who needs to complete an incomplete (or anyone who is not registered for the course):

  1. Go to your Blackboard Vista course.
  2. Click on the Teach tab.
  3. Click on Grade Book (under Instructor Tools on left menu)
  4. Click "Enroll Members".
  5. Enter the Bronco NetID of the individual you want to add to your course.
  6. Click the box next to the Role (Student, TA, auditor, etc.).
  7. Click "Enroll".
  8. Click "Save".
