How to Get a Bronco NetID

New Students

New students will receive a letter from the Admissions office with their Bronco NetID, WIN (Western Identification Number), e-mail address and temporary password. A temporary password must be changed before using the Bronco NetID to access WMU services. Go here to change your temporary password.

Main Campus Students

Main campus students may obtain their Bronco NetID information by swiping their Bronco/WMU ID card at one of the card swipe locations:

Branch Campus or Distance Education Students

You may obtain your Bronco NetID information by:

  • Contacting your local Branch Campus
  • Contacting the OIT Help Desk at (269) 387-HELP, (4357) option 1
  • Swiping your Bronco/WMU ID card at one of the above Kalamazoo card swipe locations
