Information For Faculty and Staff

The Office of Information Technology coordinates computing, networking, telephone, video, and other technology services at Western Michigan University.

If you need assistance, your first point of contact should be the Help Desk . The Help Desk is located in the University Computing Center (UCC) building, down the hallway from the Information Desk, at the north end of the UCC Lab. The Help Desk is staffed six days a week and may be contacted by phone at (269) 387-HELP (387-4357) or e-mail to .

In addition to the Help Desk, faculty members who require assistance with instructional technology, may contact the Instructional Technology Center (ITC) which is located on the second floor of the University Computing Center (UCC) building. The ITC is open Monday-Friday and may be reached at (269) 387-6958.
