E-mail

Your WMU account is a "Bronco NetID. Your e-mail will be delivered to the e-communication services (ecs) server, webmail.wmich.edu by default, unless you have chosen GroupWise as your e-mail client. You may access your ecs e-mail either by going directly to webmail.wmich.edu or by clicking the e-mail icon within the GoWMU portal. Groupwise may be accessed via the Web, or installed as a client on your office and/or home machine. The client may be obtained via a download, or, if you have only a dial-up connection at home, from a CD, available from the Help Desk, located on the second floor of the UCC building. These options are supported by the OIT Help Desk.

Your E-mail Address

Your e-mail address is generated at the time your account is created. It is in the format of firstname.lastname@wmich.edu, as provided by University records. This is your official WMU e-mail address and it will be used for all University communications.
