Pre-nursing Program
Application and Admission

Apply

  1. Apply to WMU and declare "pre-nursing" as intended major
  2. Students who are admitted to WMU and wish to study nursing will be admitted to the pre-nursing program curriculum. During the June WMU Orientation session, pre-nursing students will plan their course of study with an academic advisor.
  3. Begin the pre-nursing program curriculum (see below) in the fall semester of freshman year. Maintain contact with a pre-nursing academic advisor.

To be considered for admission to the professional nursing program, pre-nursing students must:

  1. Complete and submit the PDF icon professional nursing program application to the WMU Bronson School of Nursing. Applications for the fall semester are due by March 15 and applications for the spring semester are due by Oct. 15.
