Introduction to innovation day
Innovation Day -- Where future entrepreneurs present their ideas, prototypes and models for new products or services to the public and win prizes.
Throughout Innovation Day, students are able to expose their ideas (and engineering talent) to engineering professionals, professors, the media, and many others. Attendees are given “Innovation Dollars” upon arriving, and are encouraged to "invest" their dollars in the most innovative products and services.
K-12 and up to graduate students are invited, along with their teachers and families.

All participating entrepreneurs will receive:
Gift bag to include water bottle, t-shirt, name tag and a few other surprises
Use of hospitably room for the entire day (lots of goodies)
Prizes will be awarded to:
Grades K-4th, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place metals
Grades 5th-8th, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place metals
Grades 9th-12th, each person on team will receive 1st place $50. 2nd $25, and 3rd $15
College undergraduates and graduates each person will receive 1st place $100, 2nd $50 and 3rd $25
