A United States passport acceptance facility is available at Western Michigan University in the Haenicke Institute for Global Education’s main administrative office on the second floor of Ellsworth Hall.
Members of the campus community and the public planning international travel may apply for their passports and have the necessary photos taken ($10; fee waived for WMU students and faculty) required for the application via appointment or during walk-in hours.
“We are excited to offer a convenient location on campus for WMU students and employees to apply for a passport,” said Haenicke Institute Executive Director Dr. Jane Blyth. “As a globally-engaged university, we seek to reduce the barriers to international experiences for the WMU community, and obtaining a passport is a major component of that. We also hope community members will be able to take advantage of WMU's passport acceptance facility.”
