First year ceas beginner scholarships
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Excellence Award
Awards range from $3,000 to $30,000 for select competitors in the Medallion Scholarship Program.
All admissions application materials are due October 15 of your senior year to be considered for invitation to the on-campus competition. Competitors who listed one of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences programs as their major interest will be considered for the Excellence Award. Participation in the competition is mandatory for consideration.
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Multicultural Scholarship
Award: $2,000/year ($1,000 in each fall and spring semesters), renewable for up to 4 years, totaling $8,000 each.
Application and essay must be submitted or postmarked no later than Friday, January 12 of senior year.
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Leadership Scholarship
Awards range from $1,000 to $16,000 and may be disbursed in no less than one and no more than four years, as decided by the college scholarship committee.
Application, essay, and recommendations must be submitted or postmarked no later than Friday, January 12 of senior year.

CEAS transfer scholarship
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Transfer Scholarship
Award: $6,000 ($3,000 a year), awarded four semesters (fall or spring) or until graduation, whichever comes first.
Admissions application must be completed and credits evaluated by February 16.
Current ceas student scholarships
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Scholarship
Award: $250 to $500 for fall and winter semesters
Application due March 15.
General Dynamics Land Systems Academic Excellence Award
Award: Up to $1,000 per academic year, renewable for one year.
Applications with supporting material are due March 15.
George E. Kohrman Scholarship
Application due March 15.
Kenneth Knight Scholarship
The award will be up to $5,000 per year for each of four scholarships and may be renewed for one additional year.
Each academic department offers their own scholarship programs for current and new students. Be sure to check with the department offices frequently for updates.
Lacks Enterprises Scholarship
Awards up to $800 for current students studying Management, Integrated Supply Management, or Engineering.
The Army ROTC program at WMU features scholarships for both beginner and current students
Monroe-Brown Foundation Scholarship
The Monroe-Brown Internship Program is dedicated to matching student interests with company needs for internships in the Southwest Michigan region. CEAS students may be eligible for one of several paid summer internships followed by a $2500 scholarship.
