Your Bronco NetID is your Western Michigan University username and login ID for all major online systems. With your password, it gives you access to course registration, grade look-up, online classes, account balance and payments, email and more.
You receive your Bronco NetID with a temporary password when you are admitted to WMU. To activate your Bronco NetID, go to gowmu.wmich.edu and click either First Time Logging in or Set Your Password. You will need to enter a new password, and you will be prompted to create a challenge phrase. This will allow you to reset your password if you forget it. Read password guidelines prior to setting a new password.
Never share your password with anyone!
Student passwords must be changed at least once a year. You will receive reminders when your password is about to expire. For more information, see the password management policy. Never share your password with anyone as doing so may compromise your personal data.
