Contact: Bethany Gauthier and Cara Barnes

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Those who love to sing are invited to gather for the next edition of "Kzoo Sings!" from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium on the Grand Tier lobby. The April song is "Africa" by Toto.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge, and a full cash bar and complimentary snacks will be provided.

How it works

"Kzoo Sings!" is a drop in, no-commitment singing event open to anyone who likes to sing new arrangements of pop songs. No music reading ability is required and no auditions will be conducted. Participants are encouraged to listen to the song that will be sung.

Participants will get a lyric sheet and will join a high, mid or low vocal group. Together, the groups will master three-part harmonies for the evening's chosen song. Some sessions may be recorded.
