Faculty and students to perform concert together

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Several ensembles comprised of faculty and graduate students from the brass, wind, and percussion studios in Western Michigan University's School of Music will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Western Winds will perform a wide variety of engaging selections, including the music of Brahms, Bach, Tomasi, Ibert and Bozza . Performing groups include a brass and percussion ensemble, a double wind quintet, a brass quintet, a wind quintet and a jazz combo.
