Student leadership institute coming up

All WMU students are invited to strengthen their leadership skills by registering for the Diversity and Leadership Institute Friday, Jan. 23, in the Bernhard Center. Registrations are due Wednesday, Jan. 21.

Miller Auditorium welcomes 'hormonally imbalanced' comedians

"The Four Bitchin' Babes: Hormonal Imbalance," a comedic experience set to music featuring guitar, bass, piano, Irish Bodhran and mandolin, is coming to Miller Auditorium for one performance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31.

WMU United Way celebration slated

The University will mark the end of its campus United Way campaign with a celebration at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the Gilmore Theatre Complex Atrium. More than 93 percent of the campaign goal has been raised.

Peggy Seals obituary

Peggy Arlene Seals, a former employee in the WMU residence halls, died Dec. 20. She was 78. A memorial service was held, and guestbook entries can be viewed online.

 

Miller Auditorium to host 'Frozen' singalong

A singalong to Disney's hit movie "Frozen" is set for 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Miller Auditorium. Tickets range from $10 to $15 and are on sale now.

NASA scientist to present talk on Rosetta Mission

The historic Rosetta Mission will be discussed during a presentation by Dr. Essam Heggy, one of the mission's science team members, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, in the Fetzer Center's Kirsch Auditorium.

University Theatre presents 'The Whale'

The all-student cast will give several performances of the critically acclaimed play Jan. 23 through Feb. 8 in the York Arena Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.
