Acting in formal session, WMU trustees approved a recommendation to increase tuition and required fees for 2015-16 by 3.2 percent. A full-time Michigan freshman or sophomore will see a $344 increase over last year.

The inaugural Activate: Midwest New Play Festival is set for Friday through Sunday, June 19-21, in WMU's Gilmore Theatre Complex. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
