Student leadership institute coming up

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—An institute is being held this semester to help Western Michigan University students augment their leadership skills.

The Diversity and Leadership Institute is open to all students, requires advance registration, and is being organized by Student Activities and Leadership Programs. It will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in 109 Bernhard Center.

The institute is a half-day program featuring a keynote speaker and educational sessions. In addition to engaging in dialogue on diversity and leadership, participants will learn how to work collaboratively in a diverse world and how to become stronger leaders.
