Dempsey Ventures

Utilizing extensive experience in the medical industry, the company makes controlling and minority investments, while maintaining a continuing relationship with the selling owner and management.

Prior to founding Dempsey Ventures, Bowen formed Aspen Surgical Products in 1999 and purchased a few single-use surgical product lines from a public company. He grew that business more than tenfold, selling the majority interest for $400 million.

Dempsey Ventures focuses on business with $2 to $15 million of cash flow and considers buyouts of private companies or non-core divisions of larger companies. The company also concentrates on growing mature companies in healthcare product manufacturing and/or distribution primarily based in the United States.
