WMU Jazz Lab Band tours the Americas in fall concert

KALAMAZOO, Mich.--Western Michigan University's Jazz Lab Band presents its first concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Directed by Tom Knific, the University Jazz Lab Band will feature an exciting mix of big band jazz, and Latin and American songbook favorites. Outstanding soloists selected from the band will perform works of John Clayton, Bob Mintzer, Tom Knific, Fred Sturm, Michael Philip Mossman and others.
