KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University theatre students will perform "9 to 5 The Musical" March 13-23 in the Shaw Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.

"9 to 5" follows three unlikely friends as they team up to get even with their "sexist, egotistical, lying" boss by singing and dancing their way to revenge in the workplace. From Grammy winner Dolly Parton and based on the hit 1980s movie, "9 to 5 The Musical" features hit songs, including "9 to 5," "Shine Like The Sun" and "One of The Boys."
Under the direction of Jay Berkow, the all-student includes Allison Hunt, Brooke Papritz, Lexi Plath, Ashley Owens, Carrie Drummond, Ana Martinez, Peyton Reilly, Katie Hume, Shane Schmidt, Austin Blumh, Joseph Cavaini, Matthew Kurzyniec, Nick Angel, Todd Tuchek, Kasady Kwiakowska, Sara Mikulski, Lindsay Powers, Kara Bartlow, Audrey Johnston, Brittanie Travarrow, Sara Geist, Katelyn Langwith, Colton Steele, Joey Simon, Drew Porrett, Chuckie Benson, Mike Perlongo, EstéFan Kizer, Nick Petrelli and Chase Gray. The stage manager is Bridget Williams.
All seating for "9 to 5 The Musical" at Shaw Theatre is general admission. Tickets are $20, $18 for senior citizens and WMU employees, $5 for WMU students and $10 for all other students.
