Nov. 21 is the deadline to submit an application.

KALAMAZOO—Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, for a total of nearly $75,000 in Student Sustainability Grants to support student research, activities and initiatives that will foster a culture of sustainability at Western Michigan University.

All WMU students who pay the sustainability fee are eligible to apply. Proposals will undergo an initial evaluation to determine, among other things, if they are legal, feasible and adequately budgeted. An all-student committee will then blindly review proposals meeting minimum requirements. Allocations will be announced by Saturday, Dec. 14.

Applications must be submitted in PDF format to wmu-sustainability@wmich.edu. Direct questions to Derek Kanwischer at wmu-sustainability@wmich.edu or (269) 387-0941.
