KALAMAZOO—The deadline for Western Michigan University employees who supervise students to register to attend the annual Student Employment Summit is Monday, July 29.
The summit will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 1, in Room 208 of the Bernhard Center. Refreshments and handouts will be provided.
This year's summit will focus on providing resources to supervisors to help them more effectively communicate with, and support, their student employees to benefit their departments, as well as the University.
A variety of staff members from across campus will share their expertise regarding services and resources to assist in the successful administration of campus student employment. In addition, details will be revealed about the online training program geared toward student employees that will go live in January.
