KALAMAZOO--A report made to the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees at its June 7 meeting showed the total of gifts, pledges and deferred commitments made to WMU for the fiscal year to date now tops $39 million.

The figure reported, $39,711,746, includes gift activity through April 30. The University's 2011-12 fiscal year runs through June 30.
